Become a Recovery Friendly Workplace

We are pleased that your organization is interested in becoming a Recovery Friendly Workplace!

To start the process, please submit the Letter of Interest below. Once submitted, a RFW Advisor will contact you to schedule an orientation with senior management and/or human resources personnel.

Organizations can expect the process to take 2-4 months to complete the initial designation.

It is easy to get started: just four simple steps will start you and your organization on the path:

Submit an Interest Form (see tab under "Become a RFW")
Schedule an orientation for senior management and HR personnel (provided by RFW team).
Create a written declaration to your employees stating your workplace’s commitment to RFW principles and your participation in this initiative. Sample declarations are provided.
Receive your RFW designation from United Way of Missoula County.

RFWs encourage environments where employers, employees and communities can collaborate to create positive change and eliminate barriers for those impacted by addiction. To achieve a high level of employee health, safety and productivity, we invite and encourage all employees to reach out for help and support."
